Aimee Song is an interior design and fashion blogger based in California. For many fashion fans, she is an inspiring example of a self-made woman. With more than three million Instagram followers on @songofstyle and four million monthly views to the Song of Style website, she has been featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 and collaborated with top luxury brands. Today Aimee Song runs a business in fashion, jewellery, and interior design. Her first book Capture your style fast became a New York  Times bestseller. 


Diane von Furstenberg, in the foreword of the book, called her a symbol of today’s successful, stylish woman. But Aimee Song has not always been so successful. She always dreamed of becoming an interior designer, but after her family ran into financial problems, Aimee had to get a job in a small kitchen-and-bath design firm. Finally, she saved enough money to attend a design school in San Francisco. 

While studying, Aimee started her own interior design blog. It didn't have a large response until she tried something new: her first outfit post. Thereby her fashion and lifestyle website, Song of Style, was officially born. When in 2010 Instagram launched, her picture-taking habit vaulted to an entirely new level.
